This past week, Jenni and I hosted an intimate 2-day Business Mastermind Retreat here in magical Sedona, Arizona to an intimate group of multiple 6-figure (and a few 7-figure) clients.
It was two days of coaching, hot seats, networking and sharing what is working right now. Each of them shared their best Sales Strategy for getting new clients in the door.
Every Digital CEO in that room was in a different niche, all with different price points, and different sales models.
And ALL strategies are successful.
So, I have taken ALL of the content, strategies and systems shared over those two days, put it into a big ole juicer to extract the ONE... the BIGGEST... MOST RELEVANT... and IMPORTANT piece of advice you need to hear RIGHT NOW:
So, here it is:
SIMPLE sells. LESS is more. The grass will always feel greener. And you can go even further with what you have right now.
There. That’s it. That’s all you need to know right now. The end. Now get back out there! ;-)
Once you have an irresistible offer, and a way to sell it... you can TAKE that to HIGH multiple-six to seven figures per year.
One offer. One strategy. One focus.
You know this.
So why aren’t you doing it?
What most entrepreneurs don’t realize is that one of your biggest deterrents to success... is DISTRACTION. There are 1,001 ways to sell your stuff... automated, live, organic, paid, high-ticket vs low-ticket, membership vs course, YouTube vs Instagram, etc... etc...
...and they ALL WORK!
And you start WORKING yours, and some fancy-pancy influencer tells you THEIR strategy is better (squirrel!) so you ditch what you started for something new!
...chasing 7 rabbits, never catching one.
It’s the real, true and proven phenomenon of CONTEXT SWITCHING:
The MASSIVE waste of time, energy and MOMENTUM that is completely LOST the more you SWITCH to the next thing... and the next thing... the next thing... to the next thing.
Yes my friend, ANYTHING is possible for you. And you CAN do anything.
Yet... “anything” is very different than EVERYTHING. Doing it ALL is not the goal.
It’s quite the opposite.
Crystalize your VISION for your LIFE and BUSINESS (life first, ok?)
The name of the game: Pull that vision into your life in the most elegant way possible.
Elegance means LEAST amount of steps.
KEEP IT AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE... then make it more simple.
One Offer. One Sales System. One Organic Strategy. One Paid Strategy.
The person who DOES that is GUARANTEED to get where they wanna go FASTER than trying to build 5 bridges at the same time.
That’s it. Simplify. Stop trying to complicate. You might be impressing people (hey boo, why are you trying to impress people?) but SIMPLE is what serves and helps everyone. Your audience. Your team. You!
Ok, so here’s a common scenario that would have you completely disregard the advice given in this week’s newsletter...
You pick your offer, build your sales system, and...
...it doesn’t really work.
You put all this time in and it’s like a Ford Pinto limping along, leaking gas, ready to explode if someone breathes on it wrong.
Here’s what the AMATEUR does: “Ok, this ain’t it. I’ll ditch this, start over and build something new.”
(James’ voice in their ear: “Nooo! If you do that, you’re going to get stuck in a vicious cycle of always building something that doesn't really work, abandoning it, and looking for something new.”)
Here’s what the PROFITABLE PRO does: “Ok, this isn’t really working yet, let’s fix it so it does.”
Wow. Rocket science... well, not really, but WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
EVERYTHING that makes me butt-tons (the technical term) of money today began as something that barely worked. I had to get it out there and OPTIMIZE it... and then optimize it again and again!
AND THAT’S where the MONEY is.
But you can’t OPTIMIZE something if you’re always building something new!
Said another way... you can’t get your car to go from 30mph to 60mph if you’re wasting your days building 5 half finished cars in your garage!
Keep it simple. Less is more. Optimize and scale what you have, and you will make more working less... guaranteed.
And you can take that to $1M per year!.. more if you choose of course! ;-)
