As you may know, I run a 12-month mastermind for 7-Figure Online Experts.
It’s crazy to think I’ve been running that group for over 9 years now! Wow!
Well, for our final in-person retreat, my team and I had a cool idea: create a little book filled with their own wisdom and advice. We are calling it The Performance Mastermind’s Little Book of Wisdom.
Each member is contributing a page or two. They are sharing their best life and business advice so members have something to take with them at the end of the program.
Pretty cool, right?
Well, I figured I would include a lil “wisdom” for the book based on my experience of running a business for all these years now.
And I thought, what a cool idea to share that little “passage” with all of you in this newsletter!
So here is what I decided to share with our 7-Figure Clients:
Most people start a business because they want what they think it will give them: money, freedom, accomplishment, control.
But what the most successful eventually realize is that business gives you something far more valuable than any of those things: expansion and self-discovery.
The path of entrepreneurship guarantees one thing...
If you walk it and refuse to quit, you will grow. You will discover more of who you really are. You will uncover what you're truly capable of. And you will find where your Personal Power has been lying dormant all along.
To awaken more of your potential, to evolve, to expand, to know yourself more deeply, is one of the greatest gifts this Path offers. Because the more you grow, the more you inspire others to do the same.
The more you gain, the more you can give.
I learned a long time ago that we don’t inspire people through what we say or teach. We inspire by how we show up in the World. By who we become.
We represent the proof of what’s possible. A catalyst for change... a bar to be raised even higher by others that follow.
But here’s the truth most don’t want to hear: expansion doesn’t come from hitting your goals or checking off a successful launch.
It comes from the dark.
From the failures, the setbacks, the gut-wrenching disappointments that will inevitably find you the moment you commit to this Path.
Because it's in those moments, the ones that bring you to your knees, that you meet your Power.
When you choose to rise again… you become more of who you’ve always been. Awake. Alive. Unshakable. That kind of transformation is rare. It’s not for everyone.
Most people don’t live this way. Even many entrepreneurs, despite their big, bold goals, spend all their energy trying to avoid the very discomfort that would make them great.
They’ve lost the plot. They think the gold is at the end of the rainbow, when the money lands in their bank account.
But the real treasure? It’s in choosing to do battle with your own enemies: fear, self-doubt, ego, sabotage, and then winning that battle.
So if I could offer one piece of wisdom as you proceed on this Path, it would be this:
Do not resist these battles. Don’t avoid them. Don’t fear them.
Face them.
With Power. With Faith. With Conviction.
See them for what they are: the necessary threshold for your next evolution. A rite of passage. A Catalyst for your Highest Calling.
Embrace the struggle. Lean into all of the discomfort, and approach all of life’s challenges like a Warrior.
And smile, knowing the Truth: that if you approach ANY challenge this way...
...you’ve already won.
