From the Desk of James Wedmore:
Hello Digital CEO :-)
As we turn the corner into the fourth and final quarter of 2025, I thought I would share two powerful distinctions that help you track and manage your numbers:
The Performance Scoreboard and your Digital CEO Scorecard.
You’ll learn what both are, why they are both important, and how to implement them.
But first, let’s make sure you have a proper plan for structuring your Quarter 4:
How to Create a Quarter 4 Plan:
Step 1: Review and debrief your Quarter 3
Step 2: Re-visit your VISION
Step 3: Identify a Revenue Goal for Quarter 4
Step 4: Identify the ONE offer that will generate that goal
Step 5: Identify the ONE plan (sales system) to sell that offer
Boom!
Do that EVERY quarter for the next 10 years... you are unstoppable!
With that in place, you’ll want to have a SCOREBOARD.
What is a Performance Scoreboard?
The SCOREBOARD is a pro-active, measurable habit or action you can take daily or weekly that directly AFFECTS your 90 Day Goal.
This is something BINARY. You either do it... or you don’t. And it ain’t up for debate.
Here are some examples:
👉 Post 1x reel per day
👉 Reach out to one prospect per day
👉 Connect with one potential affiliate every day
And every day you track whether you did it... or you didn’t.
Obviously, this “metric” should be something that:
-
Can be done by you (or someone on the team) consistently
-
It tracks an ACTION or HABIT... not an external outcome outside of your control
-
It is relevant or correlated to your 90 Day goal (ex: contacting more leads = more sales)
This is a practice that FORCES you into the habit of consistency.
So! Grab a calendar, whiteboard or something VISUAL, and MARK every single day you DID your task vs didn’t. The trick here is to make it a GAME.
I use this cool light up Habit-Tracking Board, that you can find here: https://yetch.studio/products/every-day-goal-calendar

In fact, I ALSO suggest doubling up with a PERSONAL Scoreboard... maybe going to the gym or going for daily walks, meditating daily... or practicing guitar every day!
That's a simple breakdown of the scoreBOARD. Now...
What is your Digital CEO Scorecard?
Your scorecard TRACKS the previous week’s PERFORMANCE of results. It looks to the PAST.
So, while the scoreBOARD measures what is WITHIN your control in the PRESENT, the scoreCARD measures that which you can’t really control.
This is things like, views, downloads, followers, leads, sales... etc. You influence these things, but they can also be outside of your control.
And... there’s a LOT to track!
So, what should you really focus on? All of it!?
Well, you COULD, but as they say: LESS IS MORE.
So, let’s follow the TLC Method: Traffic. Leads. Conversions.
If you simply tracked one Traffic Metric, one Leads Metric, and one Sales Metric, you would be rocking and rolling.
Below is a SIMPLE and random example. You must identify what metrics MATTER most to you!

Notice...
There is a TRAFFIC metric (Followers), a LEADS metric (Manychat) and a Conversion metric (Sales).
Also, there is a GOAL vs current number. And someone who OWNS the metric.
THIS is where the rubber hits the road.
Business can feel hard because there are simply TOO MANY things for just one person to be responsible for. When you attract others to take one RESPONSIBILITY for the performance of particular metrics... it’s game over!
Why?! Because the metric manages the member... so you don’t have to!
So... do THIS... and have a ROCKIN' Quarter 4:
âś… Step 1: Lock in your Quarter 4 plan
âś… Step 2: Pick one Pro-Active Habit or Task you can perform DAILY to GUARANTEE your Q4 success (Performance Scoreboard!)
âś… Step 3: Create an excel sheet or project board that documents the top 3 to 5 metrics that matter MOST in your business.
BONUS: Give ownership of those metrics to trusted members on your team!
In Conclusion...
This ain't something I just made up. It's a DISCIPLINE I've followed RELIGIOUSLY for over 7 to 8 years now.
As you've heard me say 1000x times, MORE STRUCTURE equals MORE FREEDOM, MORE GROWTH, MORE EXPANSION!
...well, I just gave you two powerful ingredients for more structure!
