I sleep in, I do my morning routine, all that jazz, and then... I sit down and I write this newsletter. And it's been a real joy. So thank you for opening and reading every week. It's been game-changing for me, and it's now something I'm teaching my clients how to do (and it's becoming part of the Business By Design curriculum!).
So, I will go as far as to say: you absolutely need one. You need SOME way to nurture your leads when not in a launch or promotion.
For me it's pretty easy, I sit down and share a bit of "what's worked" or what I'm up to the previous week. And the good news for you: you get the latest "what's working now!" in real time!
Take this for example:
We just kicked off our 21 Day Challenge for Your First 100 Leads on Saturday! (you can still join us at www.JamesWedmore.com/100leads)
And that page... CRUSHED! We are still tallying up the final numbers... A.D.E (Always Debrief Everything!) but last we checked, that mini sales page was converting at +15%!
And that includes a TON of cold traffic!
So, here's what caused that campaign's success.
There are two HIGH-LEVEL concepts that are always most important:
It's a GREAT OFFER with GREAT COPY.
And I don't want to oversimplify things, but that's what it usually comes down to: did you offer something people REALLY WANT, and did you NAIL the copy?
This is a SKILL. There is an ART and a SCIENCE to it. If you want to increase sales, conversions, and performance, you MUST master this. MUST.

We are in very unique, unprecedented times. The World is changing. Markets are changing. And it's very, very easy for people to get sucked into all the noise, fear and hype and lose perspective. So, cue up those episodes, go for a nice long walk, and lemme know on IG what you think.
Cool Campaign Tweaks That Worked:
Look back to this campaign we did. I want to share a few tactical things that we did that did really well.
- The Slide-Out Checkout: Thanks to the brothers over at Samcart, they shared that their clients are seeing better conversions with a slide-out checkout page. What this essentially means is when people click your Add to Cart button, instead of leaving the page, a pop-up slide-out checkout is presented. We implemented this and saw great conversions right out of the gate, so I do recommend this. NOTE: we did however run into some tracking issues when we were driving ads, so we inevitably replaced it, simply because I didn't know how to solve that tracking issue.
- The Applied Coupon Code: Special deal we ran was a discount on the price of admission to the 21-day challenge. But the real magic was that we gave people a coupon code and had it already applied. This way, when the user visits the checkout page, they can see the coupon code and the $76 that they are saving instantly.
- Ads STRAIGHT to the Sales Page: When doing a no-brainer low-ticket offer like this, I love when you can just run ads straight to the sales page. I think what's important is when you do this, you are mentioning the price and the special offer in the ad, so the only people clicking are those that are already considering purchasing.
Those are some fun li'l things we applied to this campaign, but I'll remind ya: the difference that makes the difference is OFFER and COPY. And I'll say it again for those in the back of the room:
If GREAT OFFERS and GREAT COPY are the differentiating factor that determines campaign success, your AI chatbot is not the thing that's gonna CLOSE the GAP for you.
We have to get real about this. I am TALKING to clients at every level EVERY SINGLE DAY. I SEE the challenges they come to me with... and I'm noticing where our work moves to. It's MESSAGING (copy), OFFER ENHANCEMENT. That's 90% of it. And they are USING AI! (maybe to outsource some things, or brain storm ideas), yet they still come to me because their stuff isn't at the level it needs to be to CONVERT WELL.
What's scary is... I can see what's missing... they can't.
And I'm just being real with you. If AI was solving all their sales problems, they wouldn't be reaching out to me. And I'd simply be teaching you something different. I'm teaching you what YOU need... not what I need.
And I'm seeing people get pulled further into the rabbit hole, getting more lost than ever, and enchanted by an illusion. (and, the questions are getting DUMBER.)
And some will say, "ya, you just need to train your AI better." Totally! Do that! But WHO IS TRAINING THE AI?! And who is determining if it's even any good?! How do you know it's good? Because you asked it to be "scroll stopping"?
Why can I see garbage when others can't?!
Look. In my career (19 years), I've seen many things BEFORE others. I've spotted the trends, the opportunities, "the future" before others. I'm not saying that to brag, I'm just giving credence to what I see now:
The whole World is getting sucked and pulled into AI. And while they do that, the smart few can do something different: Become the best.
Be the best copywriter. Authority. Teacher. Coach. The most authentic. The most REAL. The biggest heart. The person who cares the most.
THOSE will be the ones I bet on.
Why? Because a lot of entrepreneurs (like your competitors) are slowly losing the plot. They are trading skills/mastery for ease and convenience. They waste all day trying to learn AI so they can save time. They are slowly building a business based SOLELY on what they want, while forgetting what their audience NEEDS.
This newsletter took me about 45 min to write. To get to this point here. Could AI have written this for me quicker? Uh, yes! Absolutely!
Does that mean I have AI write it?!
No. And here's the biggest thing MOST people will never understand. EVERYTHING is ENERGY. Including... your words. Your words carry with them an energetic signature... a piece of you, if you will.
THAT'S your medicine.
When you write the piece that feels divinely inspired... where the words seem to just flow out of you... even when it took you weeks to get to that state... THAT'S when it touches someone. That's when your reader goes... WHOA. That awoke something within me.
You think AI is gonna do that for you?
The answer is no.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not "knocking" AI. I AM however knocking HOW people are using it. The best AI use we are utilizing right now: getting my team to use AI to get busy work and low value activities off their plate. THAT'S where it's being supercharged!

So... anyway. I went on a bit of a rant here, but I hope you'll listen. Because most won't. Which IS the opportunity. And quite frankly: don't believe a word I'm saying. Get quiet. Go within yourself. The answers ALWAYS come in the Silence. Will bringing more of your Uniqueness and Authenticity and Light and Consciousness into your content HELP you reach more people? Or should AI do it for you?
