Here's the Formula for Making More While Working Less
James Wedmore

From the Desk of James Wedmore:
I didn’t really like Mr. Beast’s “Beast Games” on Prime. Did you watch it?
It’s this high-stakes competition show where 1,000 contestants compete in intense challenges for a $5 million prize, the biggest in game show history.

To me, it felt like a ton of dark, psychological manipulation, greed and competition all wrapped up into one.
BUT...
...I can’t ignore the fact that Mr. Beast has the largest YouTube Channel at over 372 Million subscribers, 74 Billion views, and he generates over $85 Million per year.
Not bad. 🤯
What really caught my attention was something he shared in an interview recently...
He talked about his story of getting started on YouTube.
And long version short: he obsessed.
All day. Every day. YouTube, YouTube, YouTube.
He and his friends would stay on Skype all day (hello, mastermind!) and discuss what was working. What wasn’t.
They would analyze other videos. Thumbnails. Topics. Hooks.
They would test everything.
All with one goal: get better. MASTERY.
In fact, he posted weekly videos for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS before anything really took off. Four years!
Conclusion: Mr. Beast became the largest YouTube Channel of all time because he MASTERED one thing.
And to master that one thing, you gotta put in the time.
That’s it right there.
It's one of the many "secrets" of the Universe, isn't it. You put in the time, and the love, and the dedication... your success will always be inevitable.
But that's not how most approach business, is it?
If you’re trying to get "decent" at ALL things, you’ll not only overwork (which leads to burnout), but you’ll massively underperform.
The argument here is: getting 1% better than the average bear will yield QUANTUM results.
So just imagine if you put in the time to get really, REALLY good at one thing... and then obsessed about getting even BETTER!
👉 Maybe it’s an Audience-Getting resource, like a Podcast or Instagram.
👉 Or your Launch strategy.
👉 Or Copywriting.
It doesn’t really matter, as long as you love it and getting better at it will help you grow your business.
And how much faster could you get GREAT at this one thing when you say “no” to all the other things you’re trying to do simultaneously?!
Now, I know what I’m saying does make sense, right?
But how often have you been guilty of complaining or getting mad because you’re doing it, but it isn’t working.
“Oh I did Facebook Ads, they didn't work.”
NO. You barely scratched the surface with Facebook Ads.
“I posted every day on Instagram. The algorithm sucks. I give up.”
NO. Your content sucked. (I mean, I would probably love it, but it didn’t land with your audience!)

How many things have you given up on because it didn’t immediately work?
Where is your commitment to excellence?
To mastery?
To learning something better than anyone else so you can be the market leader?
...or does it just have to all immediately work for you with minimal effort?
I know it’s VERY counter-intuitive. But working MORE on ONE THING will actually cause you to work LESS and make more.
So let me ask you:
Are you trying to do all the things? You’re trying to be on every platform? Every day?
The most profitable businesses (and happiest Digital CEOs) aren’t the ones doing all the things.
They’re the ones doing fewer things better than anyone else.
And if you’re trying to do all the things, that’s not strategy. That’s simply FEAR.
Fear that something won’t work, so you do it ALL, just in case.
Ironically, doing it all rarely works.
But, when you can do that one thing CONSISTENTLY... and get everything else off your plate... and do that over and over again, you will see more growth while continuing to work less than ever before!
So put your blinders on.
Pick your thing.
And do it better than anyone else.
Digital CEO Philosophy:
📊 Metrics Matter

👆 It’s so true.
One of the key distinctions I see with successful business owners and those that just call themselves a business owner is this:
THEY.KNOW.THEIR.NUMBERS.
BUT this comes with a caveat.
Too much of a good thing IS a bad thing.
It’s so easy to drown in a sea of numbers. The data tells you so much, you don’t even know what to listen to.
So, we gotta keep it SIMPLE.
First, tracking new leads, revenue and profit on a consistent (weekly or monthly) basis is crucial. (BECAUSE... what you focus on grows!)
Then, we can focus on 1-3 metrics for Sales Performance.
In a launch or funnel, we want to know how many leads came in. How many sales came out. How much money went in. How much came out.
Simple.
(This is where Earnings Per Lead, or EPL, comes in very handy)
And then you want to track your Traffic/Audience metrics.
For your “ONE PLATFORM,” you should have just one to two metrics that measure your progress and performance.
So, let’s use Instagram for a moment.
You can measure:
➡️ Weekly Follower Growth
➡️ Views
➡️ Engagement
➡️ Even Leads FROM Instagram.
Now, measuring and tracking all of these risks being too much. So, pick the top two that matter most.
If you’re in an IG growth phase, maybe just Weekly Follower Growth and a Views to Follower ratio.
If you already have a strong, established account, weekly LEADS from Instagram might be better.
SourcererCEO:
🪄 Manifest Those Metrics!
With key metrics in mind, set 90 day outcome goals with these metrics.
Then:
✨ Focus on them.
✨ Track them.
✨ Keep your attention on them.
✨ Give them energy.
When you do this from a place of neutrality, presence and power, you WILL grow these metrics.
This is the power of the Law of Attraction in action.
It’s not just that they magically grow on their own... NO!
But by placing your attention on what you want, you will attract ideas, people, strategies and new decisions that LEAD to the growth you want.
Just be ready to capture those new and crazy ideas that feel out of left field and experiment with them.
My most successful campaigns started with, “ok I just had a crazy idea...”
LESS TALK, MORE ACTION:
Now, time to put this into practice.
Remember: Don’t track everything. Track what matters.
Here’s a simple framework to dial in your focus:
📈 Core Business Metrics
Track these consistently — weekly or monthly:
✔️ New Leads
✔️ Revenue
✔️ Profit👥 Sales Performance Metrics
For launches or funnels, keep it simple:
✔️ How many leads came in?
✔️ How many sales came out?
✔️ How much money went in vs. came out?
✔️ Earnings Per Lead (EPL)💰 Traffic / Audience Metrics
Pick ONE platform (like Instagram), then choose 1–2 key metrics:
✔️ Weekly Follower Growth
✔️ Views or Engagement
✔️ Leads from the platform

I have so many exciting resources to share with you!
Turn Your Instagram Link-in-Bio into Website Clicks (Not App Views)
Ever notice how Instagram opens links inside the app instead of your actual browser? I found a free tool that forces your link to open outside of the IG app — so people land on your real website, not a weird in-app viewer.

AI Video Editing Tool That Adds B-Roll & Captions Automatically
I just started playing around with this one. You simply feed it your clip, and it adds b-roll and captions.
Kinda cool.
Some of the b-roll can be a little cheesy, but it’s still a great jumpstart if you’re batching content.
