In our 3rd and final installment of my lil' FOLLOW UP series, we are going to discuss DIFFERENT offers you can make POST launch!
Here are your options:
Go up! Down down! Go Sideways!
1. Going Up: The Higher Ticket Offer
There is a group of people that didn't buy in your launch simply because they desire MORE. MORE FROM YOU. So... offer that higher-ticket VIP offer. Higher price. Higher touch. (We've discussed options in previous posts, so I'll leave it at that)
I will always remember a client who actually DOUBLED her sales by offering a $10k mastermind offer AFTER the launch of her $2k course. Application Only. Sold it out in one day.
2. Going Down: Give them the First Step
When "price" is the objection... give people something "lighter." Here are some options for this:
a. an "easier" payment plan
b. a "lite" version of your program at a cheaper price (think: same product, but less stuff included)
c. a program that focuses on the "First Step" or "getting started." This would be like "the first module, step or section" as an option.
Here's a cool example of this. We did option C. After BBD, we pitched a $297 Challenge on how to launch your beta. We did over $100k in sales... and then... 10% of those people bought BBD! Those people SAW BBD, said "no," but the challenge... then said YES!
3. Going Sideways: Another Option All Together
The third option... is to simply offer a different product all together. Something that is still relevant to your audience, but not the same promise as your original product. For example... After Business By Design, I could do a downsell for MIND YOUR MONEY. It's relevant to my audience... but it is NOT the same offer.
In Conclusion:
People like to complain that live launches are a lot of work. Well... They are! And... they can have a lot of reward! And you can ride that wave of momentum for months MAKING all the work VERY worth it! So I hope these last 3 days gave you more than enough ideas on how you can ride the momentum of your next launch!
