[30Daysto30K] Day 24 - Hiring Your Sales Team
We are going to discuss a few different options with using Phone Sales and Sales Teams today.

The First Option is to have a Sales Strategy in place that using a Zoom or Phone Call conversation to close. (You can review my Get Coaching Clients Process inside BBD for this one)
When you have this process dialed in, you can SCALE your sales by hiring someone else to either replace you or take on additional calls.
I would avoid all those random people that DM you on Instagram pitching their "closing services." The BEST hires for this role are people coming FROM your community that have the personality type and desire to do sales. BUT... training is required!
The Second Option is to simply add an option during your launches where prospects can book a call and talk to someone. This is what we do.
Every year inside the Business By Design launch, we offer a chance for our audience to talk to a real life alumni of BBD 1-on-1 on a zoom call. And in less than 6 days, we field over 500 conversations and over 75% of them convert into sales.
We use Calendly + Zoom, and use emails, social Manychat funnels, and links on our sales page to drive interested prospects to book a call.
We pay our alumni team a flat rate of $40 for every conversation had. Most conversations last just 15-20 minutes.
The real "secret sauce" to this is... the training. We spend several hours educating our team on the details and logistics of the BBD Offer as well as how to properly address most common objections.
We DO NOT incentivize our team to close, nor do we encourage them to be pushy or aggressive. Instead, it's simply about offering different perspectives, answering questions and giving clarity.
The fact that people get to have a REAL human connection HELPS. In fact, many new customers give tremendous credit to their alumni for their support and encouragement on the call. Many stay in touch for years as a result of that initial conversation.
The Bottom Line here is this:
In a digital, scalable, AI World... human connection will ALWAYS sell. And your people... well, they have questions! They WANT to talk to someone. Why not give them that opportunity?! It will ONLY increase sales!
Final IMPORTANT Thought:
Teaching sales and marketing from the past 15 years, there are SKILLED required in this game. One of those skills is the ability to CLOSE. To "close" is to TRANSMUTE desire into ACTION. That maaay not be your speciality. Your expertise. You can provide tremendous value, blow their minds and show them how amazing your stuff is, and still not be able to CLOSE. And as you grow and scale your brand... you may even prefer to do the closing less and less. So... hire for your weaknesses. That's what I guess I'm saying here. ;-)
